The 16-cavity mold is the most basic entry-level configuration, mainly suitable for small processing factories, new start-up enterprises, and customers with small-batch and multi-batch customized orders. It is usually matched with 200T–250T injection molding machines, with a stable cycle time of 10–15 seconds, low equipment investment cost, flexible mold replacement, and low maintenance difficulty, which can meet the production demands of small orders for mineral water bottles, small-diameter daily chemical bottles, and beverage bottles.
The 24-cavity and 32-cavity molds are the most popular mainstream configurations in the market, belonging to medium-volume production specifications. Matched with 270T–380T high-speed servo machines, their cycle time can be stably controlled at 8–12 seconds. These two configurations balance equipment cost, izlaz, and failure rate, avoiding the low efficiency of low-cavity molds and the high maintenance risk of ultra-high-cavity molds. Sa stabilnim vremenom ciklusa od 9-11 sekundi, njihov dnevni učinak na jednoj mašini je daleko veći od kalupa srednje šupljine, značajno smanjujući jedinične troškove proizvodnje i poboljšavajući tržišnu konkurentnost.
The 96-kalup ultra velike šupljine je high-end industrijska konfiguracija, uparen sa 600T i više velikim potpuno automatskim mašinama velike brzine, isključivo se koristi za super-veliku standardiziranu proizvodnju preforma za velike tvornice pića i vode koje podržavaju narudžbe. Although ultra-high-cavity molds have extremely high output, they have high requirements for machine precision, cooling system stability, and on-site supporting facilities, with higher equipment investment and maintenance costs, and are not suitable for small and medium-sized factories. Osim toga, the cavity quantity also needs to be matched with product specifications: large-diameter wide-mouth bottle preforms, oil bottle preforms, and large-capacity container preforms are not suitable for high-cavity molds due to their large single-piece volume, and mostly adopt 16–32 cavity configurations.
